The Salesforce Developer is responsible for supporting Lytx’s Salesforce CRM system and related systems. This includes solution design, system configuration, development, testing and delivery of solutions as well as ongoing systems maintenance. The successful candidate will be joining a fun, fast paced, high-growth company and will be involved in the on-going building and improvement of our enterprise applications.
* Configuring and maintaining solutions within Salesforce as applicable using Apex, Visual Force and Lightning * Customizing fields, page layouts, record types, reports and dashboards * Defining and documenting solution designs to meet business requirements * Testing deliverables against requirements * Solution implementation and rollout * Troubleshooting and resolving systems issues reported by users * Managing mass imports and exports of data * Mentoring junior Salesforce developers and administrators * Collaborating with internal resources and vendor partners to develop customizations as needed * Training business super users on new system features
Ideal Candidate
* 3 or more years’ development experience with including APEX, VisualForce and Lightning components with JavaScript * 5 or more years’ administration experience with * Experience with ETL tools like Boomi or Informatica * Understanding of how to consume and create SOAP and REST APIs * Knowledge of NetSuite or similar ERP system * Understanding of the features and functionality of Git or similar version control systems * Familiar with best practice approaches to software development, implementation and systems administration * Team oriented, with a collaborative approach for addressing challenges * Highly developed organizational skills, ability to multitask and handle urgent interrupts with poise and professionalism * Business acumen including knowledge of how a CRM and ERP applications can be utilized to improve business processes and the bottom line * Excellent verbal and written skills, able to communicate ideas and concepts clearly and concisely * Strong customer focus and ability to work directly with users in a professional manner * Prior experience in a fast-paced, services environment * Expert skills with MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel and other Microsoft Office applications * Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems or related field, or equivalent work experience * Salesforce Development certification a plus
