- Participate in all phases of software development life cycle including functional analysis development of technical requirements, prototyping, coding, testing, deployment and support
- Develop high quality and scalable application logic with Apex and SOQL
- Develop highly interactive UI using Visualforce, JavaScript and JQuery technologies
- Develop custom applications using Force.com and integrate salesforce.com with other systems
- Apply best practices and design patterns of best of breed applications developed on the Force.com platform
- Design and generate Salesforce dashboards, reports and statistics that support better decision making and process improvement within the organization, including sales forecasting, win/loss analysis, and market trend analysis, etc.
- Attend meetings with key stakeholders, gather and document user requirements, and assist with change management for product enhancements
- Perform administrator functions such as user management, profiles, roles, permissions, rules, assignment rules, queues, licenses, capacity and storage management
- Assist with database de-duping and clean up procedures, including data migrations and/or mass data uploads
- Help drive end user adoption of Salesforce through documentation, support, and training
- Research changes in upcoming versions of salesforce.com and other integrated applications; provide recommendations when necessary to enhance efficiency and productivity
- Work closely with other developers in the team, architects, business analysts, and project managers
- 2+ years of strong technical and working knowledge with Salesforce.com
- Proficient in custom objects, workflow and validation rules, email templates, formulas, dashboards & reporting, Sandbox-to-Production processes
- Knowledge of Apex (Language, Trigger, Class, Web Service), Visual Force (Page, Component, Controllers), SOQL highly preferred
- Experience working with Salesforce API and integrating third-party components into Salesforce
- In depth knowledge of REST/SOAP APIs and building integration with Salesforce
- Training and experience as a Salesforce Administrator and Developer (SF 201 Admin, SF 401 Certification or preferred)
- Experience with salesforce.com release and change management solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to toggle between tactical execution and strategic planning
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting and problem solving skills
- Self-motivated; works independently
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, ability to handle diverse situations, multiple projects and rapidly changing priorities.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills, especially in representing their technical expertise to a diverse audience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Excel, Visio, and Outlook
