Senior Salesforce Developer

Ecova is seeking a Senior Salesforce.com Developer to join our Software Engineer team to support our Ecova Efficiency Platform (Salesforce-based with .net MVS integration) by delivering scalable and robust system integration and development. Additionally, must be able to perform Salesforce.com (SFDC) administrator tasks. This is a hands on role where you will work with a Scrum Master, Product Owner and other Software Engineers to enhance and design new products. You must be a problem solver, creative thinker, fast learner, detail oriented to ensure our SOC 2 certification is maintained or processes enhanced and interested in learning and supporting the Efficiency Platform.

* Work with Scrum team to provide, technical designs, performance analysis and deployment of products on the Force.com platform * Work closely with Product Owners to realize the full capabilities of Salesforce.com * Work as a member of a project team developing Apex, Visualforce new functionality and enhancing existing functionality. Design and deploy high quality, scalable code * Lead and/or contribute to all technical aspects of IT projects, including writing technical and functional specification documents and working on artifacts required for SOC 2 Compliance * Work with managed package providers to influence their roadmaps and to effectively deploy and integrate enhancements * Ensure that documentation of code, as well as application use and flow, is accurate and well written * Perform routine review of code, configuration, data, and usage to ensure long term viability, integrity, and adoption * Make recommendations for enhancements and modifications to improve system performance, efficiency, internal business process, and reporting * Help to oversee the software testing process, which includes devising test plans, creating test cases, establishing protocols and appropriate testing environments and coordinating actual software testing with program team and clients for User Acceptance Testing. * Keep abreast of new Salesforce features and functionality and provide recommendations for process improvements.

* BS/MS in Computer Science or MIS * Salesforce certifications: Advanced Administrator and Certified Force.com Developer required * 7+ years of development experience with 5+ years of experience developing and managing applications on the Force.com platform * 5 + years’ experience as Salesforce Administrator * Self-motivation with a strong sense of accountability and a proven track record of delivering results * Demonstrated deep technical knowledge and hands on experience with the following, * Visual Force, Java-Script, Apex controllers, Triggers, APIs, S-Controls and Batch Jobs. * Salesforce.com, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, PRM, Communities and Salesforce Integrations. * Salesforce.com data model and how and when to create custom objects vs. using Salesforce out-of-the-box functionality * Must have proven ability to integrate business processes across disparate systems with the latest integration and data replication technologies * Extensive experience in designing Custom Formula Fields, Field Dependencies, Validation Rules, Work Flows, and Approval Processes for automated alerts, field updates, and Email generation according to application requirements * Proficient in SFDC Administrative tasks like creating Profiles, Roles, Users, Page Layouts, Email Services, Approvals, Workflows, Reports, Dashboards, Tasks and Events * Able to configure and maintain user security permissions in compliance with organizational SOC 2 needs * Experience in working with relational databases such as MySQL or SQL Server * Experience with .net integration and Team Foundation Server is a plus * Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator * Salesforce Certified Force.com Developer * Experience in web technologies like HTML, XML, CSS, JSP, JavaScript, and SOAP is a plus
