Summary
We are looking for a combination of Ethics & Compliance expertise, project leadership skills and the confidence and credibility to interact with senior executives. As and when required, the Knowledge Leader will support other Advisory Services engagements and solution development efforts as necessary from time to time.
Responsibilities
* Leading LRN project teams (typically comprising a project manager, writer, editor, designer, and technology support) to create outstanding codes of conduct, policies or other ethics and compliance deliverables that are aligned with the aspirations, values, desired culture, business context and compliance risks of the relevant partners (clients). * Facilitating and managing the collaborative discovery process which informs the vision, strategy, goals and timing for a reinvented code of conduct, identifies the relevant stakeholders, and elicits the necessary information and resources to ensure project success. * Leading kick-off meetings, providing a perspective on emerging trends and innovative practices that might be adopted. * Collaborating closely with the project manager to ensure timely and efficient execution of project deliverables. * Working closely with writers in the development of code content or modified policies, providing Ethics & Compliance subject matter expertise, advice and guidance. * Leading partners through a structured process to determine the effectiveness of their ethics and compliance program, using LRN’s structured and tested methodologies * Serving on an ongoing basis as a trusted advisor to the partner’s sponsor and project team, ensuring that their aspirations, needs and concerns are addressed in a proactive, timely manner. * Supporting the Enlistment (sales) and Engagement (account management) teams in identifying, progressing and closing new opportunities to help partners and prospects reinvent or enhance their code of conduct, simplify policies, operationalizing values and assess the effectiveness of their programs. * Supporting, when necessary, the execution of other Advisory Services engagements, such as education and engagement strategy, etc. * From time to time providing subject matter expertise in the development of courses and other solutions.
Ideal Candidate
**Essential Requirements** * Bachelor’s degree or higher * 8-10 years’ experience working within a corporate Ethics & Compliance function, a consulting organization or a law firm with a compliance focus * In depth familiarity with the design and implementation of Ethics & Compliance programs with prior involvement in an in-house or advisory capacity. * Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in oversight of multi-disciplinary project teams * Strong oral and written communication skills, including strong active listening skills and the ability to persuade and influence senior-level stakeholders * Strong business acumen, with the ability to identify opportunities to build on opportunities to deepen partner relationships, especially through the appropriate and timely application of other LRN services and solutions. * Ability to think strategically while recognizing tactical opportunities and maintaining a focus on the details of project execution **Desirable Requirements** * JD * Ethics & Compliance certification * Prior experience in the development of corporate codes of conduct * Prior experience in converting policies, codes of conduct or other organizational guidance into simple and accessible language * Understanding of the challenges in assessing program effectiveness, * Prior experience evaluating or assessing ethics and compliance programs using either qualitative or quantitative analyses * Experience in overseeing or supporting organizational development/change initiatives
