Summary
The Sr. HRIS Analyst is a career-level, Corporate position within the HRIS function. The primary focus of this position is to provide support and on-going maintenance of human resource systems and data to enable HR to meet objectives. This position serves as a technical point of contact as well as a subject matter expert on ensuring data integrity, testing system changes, report writing and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities.
Responsibilities
* Plan, direct and coordinate routine system maintenance activities: Assist in the review, testing and implementation of HR system upgrades, updates and enhancements. Develop test scripts. Collaborate with functional and technical staff to coordinate application of upgrade, bug fix or enhancements. Maintain code tables and system picklists. Coordinate mass upload of data for new acquisitions and/or new data fields. Document process and results. * Production Support: Provide support for HR system(s), including researching and resolving problems, troubleshooting unexpected results or process flaws; performing scheduled activities; recommending solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements. May act as administrator or as an HR partner to IT Security personnel to facilitate the creation of a security model based on functional responsibilities to enforce appropriate access level to HR data. * Projects/Process Improvement: Recommend process/customer service improvements, innovative solutions, policy changes and/or major variations from established policy that must be approved by appropriate leadership prior to implementation. Serve as a key liaison with third parties and other stakeholders (e.g. payroll, external candidates, vendors). May use project leadership skills in managing projects to achieve stated project goals. May provide overall project management for specific HR initiatives/projects (e.g., integration of new acquisitions, assist in directing the selection, design and implementation of new HR technological solutions). * Reports/Queries: Write, maintain and support a variety of reports or queries using one or more established HR systems. Assist in development of standard reports for ongoing customer needs. Help maintain data integrity in systems by running queries and analyzing data. * Training: Develop user procedures, guidelines and documentation. Train clients on new processes/functionality. Train new system users and promote understanding and influence acceptance of new HR technologies. * Individual Development: Maintain awareness of current trends in HRIS with a focus on product and service development, delivery and support, and applying key technologies. Examine trends in information systems training, materials and techniques. Through classes, reading, general research or other mechanisms, continuously increase both HR knowledge and HRIS application/tools knowledge. Participate in user group meetings/conferences.
Ideal Candidate
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Human Resources or a combination of education and equivalent, relevant work experience. * Three to five years of HRIS, HR generalist, or HR specialist experience. * One to two years of project management experience. * Systems implementation experience preferred. * SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) preferred. * Previous applicant tracking system experience preferred.
