Senior Business Analyst - Operational Systems

**General** * Executes and Manages IS&T SDLC standards * Business Analyst for business systems including best process practices * Collects requirements from business partners on the usage of the systems and develops concepts for use in designing new solutions * Takes problems presented from Operational Systems Managers and articulates them with regards to business process changes and systems design changes * Develops Business Requirements Documents and Functional Specifications Documents to support design and development of software and integrations for Operational and related Supply Management Systems * Coordinates with systems architecture to plan new systems enhancements or new systems builds **Strategic** * Works with internal business partners, vendor partners and IT teams to understand business needs, define scope and manage all system projects related to the Operational Systems landscape * Maintains up to date maps of business and data relationships for all Operational Systems and their integrations. * Maintains awareness of industry technology and process trends that relate to the business scope of Integrated Retail Systems. **Operational** * Works with the business, and IT Operational System team to develop solutions to meet organizational requirements * Develops functional specifications and business process documents * Builds project timeline estimates and costing for business owner * Develops and manages project plan tasks * Creates requirements and maintains in QA Software (HP Quality Ctr.) * Works with QA team to have requirements covered by QA Test Plan * Prepares testing documentation for Change Control * Tracks production business functional product issues for bug fix and enhancement identification including change request

* Desirable to have a BS in Computer Science, Information Systems or Engineering or equivalent Business degree * 5 years’ experience in project management, design, development and implementation of medium to large scale-level Systems * 3+ years’ experience with Microsoft Project or Project Insight, Microsoft Visio, Excel and PowerPoint * Strong Business Analysis skills including facilitation of requirements, documenting functional specifications and business process flows * Experience with retail systems is a plus * Strong Communication and Organization Skills
