This position is responsible for evaluating, processing and resolving customer claims utilizing various data files and systems.
- Maintain, analyze and reconcile debits past due to include 30, 60, 90 and 120 days
- Identify and resolve debit issues
- Create and maintain reports to uncover and track claims issues
- Interface with various departments such as outside salesforce, traffic, warehouse personnel, accounts receivable, and customers for resolution of claims
- Escalate unresolved issues to supervisor
- Participate in training new personnel as well as cross training existing personnel
- Skills & Abilities:
- Must have knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
- General understanding of claims and collections
- Must have good problem solving skills
- Must have good analytical and organizational skills
Education & Experience:
- Must have a High School diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of two years experience in general office practices
