Summary
Lanyon is looking for Inside Sales Account Executives to work alongside our senior sellers pitching to Fortune 500 clients. You will be responsible for understanding the Smart Events Cloud value proposition, client business models and needs, and industry/market positioning. This role provides exposure to and training in strategic and consultative sales at its highest level.
Responsibilities
* Partner with Enterprise Sales Team to develop and execute account plans through the management and coordination of sales activities * Drive sales productivity and available selling time to increase orders and customer satisfaction * Execute tasks to support the sales process and move an opportunity forward in the sales cycle * Demonstrate breadth and depth of knowledge to position and map Lanyon’s offerings to align with client’s business objectives and initiatives * Provide pre-sales support to remove roadblocks and streamline communication amongst stakeholders * Create sales orders and facilitate transactions to conclusion in Salesforce * Communicate with clients to complete pre-sales paperwork * Support sales quotes and contracts and ensure accurate records are kept
Ideal Candidate
* Bachelor's degree and/or combination of relevant skills and equivalent sales experience * 2+ year of proven work experience in software/technology sales * Track record of success against sales quotas and goals
