Software Engineering Intern

KLA-Tencor was formed in April 1997 through the merger of KLA Instruments (KLA) and Tencor Instruments (Tencor), two long-time leaders in the semiconductor equipment and yield management software system industry. Prior to the merger, both businesses served a segment of the inspection and metrology area; with KLA focused on defect inspection solutions and Tencor placing its emphasis on metrology solutions.

The best candidate for this position will be a highly motivated self-driven individual who has strong C++11/14 programming skills with Gnu toolset experience. The successful candidate will be required to interact with senior members of the team and work closely with them to port and rewrite existing software to be compliant with C++11/14 standard, as well as debug its functionality.

**Preferred Qualifications** * BS, MS preferred, in Computer Science / Engineering or similar fields. * Strong technical skills in OOD/OOP. * Demonstrated C++11/14 coding and debugging experience. * Knowledge in Linux and Gnu development tools. * Strong software diagnostic and troubleshooting skills. * Qt experience is a plus. **Minimum Qualifications** * Bachelor's Level Degree.
