Summary
The Retail Client Solutions Executive will be responsible for working directly with Walmart. While activities will vary, the Principal will primarily be focus on building a consultative relationship with Walmart, providing innovation, working with large data/analysis, and assisting with the presentation of insights directly to the client. He/she will have the flexibility, poise and expertise to work with relevance and impact at all client levels up to the Executive-level. The Principal will use excellent consulting skills to uncover client business issues connecting the uncovered business issues with IRI solutions; creating proposals; and closing engagements that exceed client expectations and exceed his/her revenue and profitability commitments. This individual must also build and leverage relationships across the IRI organization and may also have direct management responsibilities.
Responsibilities
* Scope client issues within an analytical framework and roadmap that clearly identifies to the prospective client a return on the information investment * - Develop feasibility, pricing, and timing for proposals via internal approval processes and external proposal closure * - Provide guidance on the final presentation of insights and strategic recommendation(s) to clients
Ideal Candidate
15+ or more years of proven analytical and relationship development experience in selling consumer analytical solutions to consumer packaged goods (CPG) and retail verticals. Experience may come from one or more of the environments below: - Research supplier or consultancy - Consulting firm - Market research supplier - CPG manufacturer - Retailer - Proven track record of meeting revenue targets - Strong applied knowledge of Excel - Proven brilliance with PowerPoint/presentation development and delivery skills and being able to articulate complex analysis in simple terms - Demonstrated ability to sell innovative analytical concepts internally and externally - Ability to manage competing priorities in multiple sales activities - Strong analytic acumen and strong written/oral communication skills - BS or BA degree required, MBA preferred
