Summary
Insight Enterprises, Inc. is currently looking for a SaaS Enablement Business Development Manager who would be responsible for creating and driving new business growth by developing strategic alliance partnerships with Application Development firms, Independent Software Vendors, and Service Providers. The role includes but is not limited to the development and execution of a strategy to create joint business value propositions for different market segments that will drive sales activities. This individual will work closely with the Cloud Strategy, Sales, Services teams to develop and leverage sales tools and solutions. The ideal candidate will have a solid technical background and contacts in the application development and/or Independent Software Vendor communities. This role requires strong communication and collaboration skills combined with a sense of urgency to drive incremental revenue within the Cloud Enablement business team.
Responsibilities
- Target, recruit, onboard and enable Application Development firms and Service Providers as a new route to market that leads to significant revenue opportunity - Drive the strategy and key factors of implementation for effective business development and the acceleration of customer adoption with selected partners to increase incremental sales. - Develop and execute various required programs and account coverage to effectively support the new partnerships - sales, technology, marketing, services engagement - Manage all aspects of relationship and engagement; execute partnering, sales and marketing plan within specific partner - Provide pre-sales support to the broader Insight Sales team on qualified opportunities - Drive revenue opportunity; monitor and maintain pipeline reports; achieve sales targets - Work with other Insight functions to best serve customers as they invest in the Cloud - Identify, address and resolve conflict immediately while maintaining a positive work environment - Learn and understand Insight's products and services - Follow Insight's approved sales methodology - Meet or exceed revenue quota targets - Manage expenses within established plan to maintain financial integrity - Effectively administer Insight's partner company agreements and policies. This position does not possess signature authority to obligate Insight in agreements with any third party - Document sales steps utilizing Insight's CRM tool
Ideal Candidate
**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities** - Bachelor's degree in Business or related field or equivalent experience - Five (5) years successful solution sales management, business development and/or channel sales management experience required - Five (5) years software development industry background in Large Account market managing complex transactions with diverse solution sales experience - Ability to build and manage multi-level relationships within partners - Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment - Excellent follow up and reporting - high sense of urgency - Strong verbal, written and presentation skills - Strong interpersonal and customer relationship skills - Proven business maturity; negotiating, decision-making, and teaming skills. - Available and willing to travel 50%. **Specialized Knowledge and skills** - Technical understanding for application development of Cloud solutions - Technical understanding of a SaaS model - Technical understanding of application migrations to the Cloud
