IT Consultant/Developer

The successful candidate will have a demonstrated ability to learn and support different systems while establishing and maintaining a strong relationship with end users. They will serve as the primary IT touch point across different areas.

* Responsible for design, development, implementation, configuration, and support of applications for Revenue, Tax and Land systems * Responsible for application upgrades and application patch packs as required * Provide production support for Revenue, Tax and Land systems users * Identifying ways to continually improve and refine business processes * Work with business managers to help define requirements, setting goals and finding solutions * Coordinate with vendors for any vendor software as support and maintenance needs * Participate in special projects as required.

* Computer Science or Management Information Systems degree * 5 years of experience (relevant to the job) – strong background in support roles (first line & second line) * 5 years of experience (relevant to industry) – strong knowledge of Property Tax, Revenue and Land * Technical Skills (functional skills related to the profession) - strong knowledge of: * C# * ASP.NET * SQL/Oracle * SSRS, SSIS * JavaScript * IIS * Website Security * Windows Server * Soft Skills (communication, problem solving, team player, self-starter, etc.) – collaborative, strong communication, self-motivated with ability to prioritize and execute tasks effectively * Experienced full software development life cycle in controlled and standardized environments * Experience in working with project teams with Project Managers, Business Analysts and other Developers * Computer Skills (indicate proficiency level required for Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, etc. in addition to other non-Microsoft Office software) – MS Access and Excel – Expert. All others need to have proficient skill level. **Additional Desired Qualifications** * Certifications – Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) * Other Experience – Project Management * Other Skills – PowerBuilder, SAP, SharePoint
