Senior Java Web Developer

* Provide state of the art expertise in Java/J2EE Web Application Development technologies * Lead/mentor developers and share knowledge through peer led presentations * Design, code, and test Java web applications, including eCommerce solutions * Consult closely with management and other departments related to projects and tasks * Demonstrate ability to manage all phases of a project * Prepare all appropriate user and technical documentation for assigned development projects * Provide end-user production support for in-house developed as well as purchased software including after-hours support scheduled on a rotating basis with other developers

* 5+ years success delivering software design and development projects using Java/J2EE technologies * Solid understanding of HTML/JavaScript/CSS * Strong Java background and expertise in related technologies, such as Spring, Hibernate, JSTL, etc. * Deep knowledge of object-oriented programming and design * Familiar with relational database design * Experience in web services and public website development * Skilled in a source control system, preferably Git * Must work effectively with other team members in design, development and implementation * 1-2 years of experience as a eCommerce developer * 1-2 years of experience as a team lead on eCommerce or CMS implementations * Knowledge of web-related technologies and frameworks, such as AJAX and jQuery * Experience in payment processing, CDN technologies, recommendation engines, SEO * Designing and create services to external systems using C# .NET, JAVA, SQL Server, MySQL, and DB2 * Experience in JBOSS, JGROUPS, Tomcat, Apache, etc. * Degree in MIS or Computer Science
