Summary
The Senior Manager Marketing is responsible for managing marketing services for the Workplace channel and it’s respective segments, as well as the Workplace customer marketing team. This individual will provide leadership for marketing functions including brand building, lead generation, digital, vertical, research, and trade. The Sr. Marketing Manager will lead cross-functional support teams representing FS interests across Brand & Product, US Marketing and PR teams. This individual will work closely with Senior leadership, Field Sales, Strategy, Finance, and cross-functional marketing teams to develop national programs driving system penetration and beverage sales.
Responsibilities
* Develop and execute strategic guidance for marketing initiatives including: Brand Awareness, Lead Generation, Customer Trade Programs, Digital, and Research * Engage with Senior Leadership team to guide strategy and marketplace decisions * Provide leadership and guidance to Customer Marketing team * Establishing strategic guidelines and thought leadership for the role of Digital within the market segments * Directly manage general advertising team focused on national lead generation campaigns, brand building efforts, and national customer trade marketing programs * Standardize research approach and output to include product, marketplace, and customer strategic initiatives * Identify, evaluate and develop customer and brand marketing strategies utilizing internal and external advertising teams, based on knowledge of established objectives, marketplace dynamics, and cost/budget factors * Manage and evaluate marketing strategies against financial considerations including budgets, expenditures, research and development appropriations, and return-on-investment and profit-loss projections * Negotiate contracts with vendors and distributors to manage collateral product distribution, establishing distribution networks and developing distribution strategies * Collaborate with Sales and Finance to establish and evaluate profitability goals of trade spend and promotions * Initiate market research studies and analyze their findings to share with broader AFH Sales Leadership team in order to drive strategic execution of key business objectives * Monitor, review and report on all marketing activity and results * Create marketing presentations * Collaborate and gain field insights with the sales team, our key customers and monitor industry best practices * Work closely with Sales and Marketing leadership to manage and optimize Keurig’s value proposition * Develop effective and respectful relationships with all stakeholders.
Ideal Candidate
* Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Business with 7-10 years of related work experience with 3 to 5 years of related work experience. * Prefer experience in a “Fortune 500” company learning basic marketing/business skills, or in the Consumer Packaged Goods, Beverage or related industries. * Excellent interpersonal, communication and management skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues, cross-functional teams, and the customer. * Self-motivated and detail oriented with the ability to perform well in a fast-paced and changing environment. * Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook). * Exudes a winning customer service attitude. * Ability to travel as needed (up to 30%)
