Summary
The Specialty Equipment Services division helps financial institutions prosper by providing specialized risk management products and service. We are currently seeking a Sales Specialist to work remotely. This position consists of 30% plus travel.
Responsibilities
* Has responsibility for developing and managing a productive and profitable book of business. * Develops a sales and marketing plan for new business acquisition, as well as existing assigned accounts. Considers the strengths and weaknesses of the accounts and competitors, divisional objectives, and overall market conditions to devise effective profitable growth strategies. * Reviews and analyzes account production and results. Recommends appropriate corrective measures when needed. * Markets and sells products and services to new prospective clients, as well as existing accounts. * Interprets and communicates effectively about products and services. * Gathers, analyzes and maintains competitive information in the marketplace. Makes appropriate recommendations based on competitive landscape. * Attends industry conferences to gather new leads and prospects. * Uses independent judgment and initiative to achieve business goals. * May take an active role, for large and/or complex accounts during upstart or critical periods in order to assist clients in producing business. * Has responsibility for building and maintaining effective business relationships with internal and external customers / coworkers in order to attract and retain profitable business. * Ensures consistency across the team when communicating with / responding to clients.
Ideal Candidate
* Minimum of 5 years related experience with insurance and finance agreements (lease or loans). * Must have prior sales and/or account management experience. * Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field. * Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential. * Equipment knowledge is preferred.
