Responsibilities
The Senior Marketing Operations Manager will be responsible for marketing analytics, marketing technology, and continuous improvement of our internal marketing processes. This role will take the lead on implementing our inquiry-to-revenue tracking to ensure marketing accountability and enable accurate marketing analytics. This is a rare opportunity in that there is a clean slate with respect to B2B marketing technology, so this role will also have the opportunity to select and implement the marketing technology stack from the ground up. We are looking for a leader that aims to grow, inspire and scale a team, but who leads from the front and isn’t afraid of getting their hands dirty. **Responsibilities:** * Provide insights to the business through analysis of inquiry-to-revenue data to drive greater efficiency and effectiveness of our B2B sales and marketing teams. * Conduct detailed and regular analysis of marketing spend and provide strategic guidance on where to increase or decrease investment. * Map out business processes, optimize the design, and ensure its continued efficacy. * Identify and eliminate bottlenecks in qualification, opportunity creation, and sales to improve the overall process of revenue creation. * Ensure alignment and consistency between salesforce.com CRM, marketing systems, and in-house database. * Create and maintain marketing reports and dashboards, and ensure consistency in naming conventions. * Analyze data related to opportunity conversions, accuracy of opportunity stages/probability, marketing stages, campaign performance, database health, acquisition source and campaign effectiveness. * Create data segmentation filters, groups, and distribution lists for campaigns and nurturing programs.
Ideal Candidate
**Qualifications:** * 7+ years of progressive experience, ideally at SaaS or B2B technology companies. * 5+ years in an marketing operations, sales operations, or analytics role. * Extensive experience in marketing automation platforms. * Master of Salesforce.com, including using sandboxes for testing and staging. * Microsoft Excel ninja. * Strong strategic thinking, creative problem solving, presentation, and analytical skills. * Basic proficiency with HTML and CSS. * Must be legally authorized to work in the United States **Preferred Qualifications:** * Basic shell scripting experience. * Knowledge of SOQL and APEX. * Salesforce.com certified advanced administrator. * Marketing automation certified.
