Summary
As the lead developer of our CRM, you will be responsible for development on key projects while ensuring quality and extensibility of our Salesforce.com (SFDC) codebase. By leveraging your development tool set and the Force.com platform, you will deliver impactful features and projects for the sales organization. The ideal candidate is able to balance speed and quality, provide solution alternatives, and identify opportunities for back-end and front-end optimizations in our Salesforce org.
Responsibilities
* Work with Sales Operations Systems team on maintaining a Salesforce data model that is technically scalable, easily reportable, and functionally intuitive for end users. * Utilize SOQL API’s, Apex controllers, Apex Web Services, Apex callouts, and other development tools to build custom functionality that tailors our sales systems to our unique business and operating model. * Develop accurate estimates on level of effort for timely project execution. * Review and assure quality in all code entering our codebase. * Continually evaluate and refactor our existing codebase for increased extensibility. * Work cross-functionally with other teams at Twilio to accomplish key Sales initiatives.
Ideal Candidate
* 2+ years experience with Apex, Visualforce, SOQL, Javascript. * Knowledge on Force.com coding best practices. * Experience with Agile development practices. * Experience in Angular, CSS, HTML, jQuery, SOQL. * Ability to translate technical requirements into independent features for development. * Comprehensive experience on debugging and troubleshooting in Salesforce. * Experience in identifying common blind spots and bugs in Salesforce. * Proficiency in developing unit tests with assertions for core functionality. * Certifications for Force.com Developer (DEV-401). **Bonus points:** * Familiarity working with a Pay-as-you-go business model. * Experience with projects on custom forecasts and product schedules. * Experience developing and deploying through Heroku. * Experience in Python, SQL, Java.
