Summary
Provide financial leadership to the GE Digital Commercial organization, closely partnering with the GE Digital Commercial Operations function and GE Business Digital Commercial organizations. Support the development of the commercial finance capabilities for GE Digital, including financial aspects of proposal and pricing framework, sales overlay model across GE, transfer pricing policy and implementation, and daily commercial finance operations.
Responsibilities
* Establish and maintain a regular operating rhythm with GE Digital Commercial Operations and the Commercial Finance teams of the Digital organizations in the GE Businesses. * Own all aspects of deal pricing for the finance function * Formalize the software sales model between GE Digital and the GE Businesses and develop a standard tracking and reporting process for joint orders/sales activity * Develop a transfer pricing mechanism and policy between GE Digital and the GE Businesses * Operationalize the internal sales and transfer pricing policy for GE Digital * Partner with Controllership and Tax to support software accounting processes, tollgates, technical feasibility etc. specifically related to transfer pricing and revenue recognition * Own all aspect of infrastructure and operational needs for the GE Digital Commercial Finance organization * Perform ad-hoc analysis and projects as deemed appropriate
Ideal Candidate
* Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline with at least 5 years of experience in Finance or related function **Eligibility Requirements:** * Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required * Must be willing to take a drug test and submit to a background investigation as part of the selection process **Desired Characteristics:** **Must Haves:** * Confidence and proven ability to influence and work across multiple key stakeholders * Solid Analytical Skills * Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and achieve quality results **Desired:** * CAS or seasoned FMP graduate * Masters degree in Finance or a related discipline * Strong interpersonal & analytic skills * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Demonstrated ability to work in a matrix environment * Prior management experience * Creative and innovative problem solving skills * High financial systems aptitude
