Summary
To create growth in the Southwest Region through short term tactical and strategic projects internally (telephone) and externally(field).
Responsibilities
**Essential Job Results:** * Communicate regularly with company managers and propose company strategies to generate growth. * Maintain existing relationships and drive new business * Drive sales campaigns via phone and email * Increase sales through prospecting for new potential customers and following up on leads * You will work in an enthusiastic environment that gives you a change to engage with people all day long. Ideal Candidate
**Education:** Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience. **Experience:** Previous sales and marketing experience is preferred; Insurance background is a plus. **Skills and Abilities:** * Excellent verbal and written communications skills. * Effective sales, negotiating and presentation skills. * Ability to learn and promote products and services. * Ability to develop rapport with agents. * Ability to manage multiple projects and assignments simultaneously. * Align work with strategic goals. **Other:** Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred, but not required. **Office Equipment and Software:** Office equipment: Telephone, cell phone, computer, printer, fax, copier, calculator and an automobile. General computer skills: MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Power Point, Internet. Software: ACT, Quick Quote, AS400, Image Right. **Business Acumen:** Once trained, must demonstrate knowledge of the market and competition; Align work with strategic goals. **Motivation:** Sets and achieves challenging goals; demonstrates persistence and overcomes obstacles. **Interpersonal Communication:** Daily interaction with agencies and Marketing Department staff. Because the majority of their interaction is with agencies, it is vital that the way they present themselves is in line with Company goals, branding and objectives. **Confidential and Sensitive Information:** Rate changes; regional direction/growth plans; personal information on Agents (i.e. bank details, Social Security Numbers, Customer names, etc)
