Summary
The Video Product Manager is responsible for delivering a world class video solution from ordering to primary and secondary screen delivery and most important ensuring that consumers and businesses who find Frontier have a stellar experience. This is a cross-functional role that is responsible for aligning Frontier’s people, processes, systems and assets in service of these objectives. This position is challenging with far-reaching goals. The successful candidate will have the tenacity and grit to affect consequential change with the customer as guide resulting in significant impact to this growth area.
Responsibilities
* Develop video solutions that align customer needs with corporate strategy and ultimately provides support to Frontier’s broadband growth objectives. * Develop proprietary insights around unmet and under-served needs by synthesizing customer feedback from a range of sources including qualitative (ethnographic, focus groups, interviews), quantitative (surveys, industry datasets) and secondary * Translate strategy into tactical execution by functional business owners through clear objectives, prioritization and assignment of responsibilities * Foster honest dialog at the executive level and effectively anticipate and navigate issues to drive the business forward * Provide continuity of vision and leadership by working across the marketing, product, engineering, IT and channel teams to ensure that the way our products and pricing are merchandised and communicated across channels are both consistent and clear to both residential and business customers * Works cross functionally with all channels of distribution to understand emerging customer and business trends that required enhancements or new product features to be developed. * Other duties as assigned
Ideal Candidate
* 5 years of experience in video product management and customer support. * Bachelor’s degree required. MBA or related post-graduate degree preferred. Experience may be suitable substitute for education. * Experience in developing project plans and accountability for delivering against business goals and objectives **Desired Skills and Attributes:** * Detail-oriented, self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven with a passion for customers and technology * Pragmatic leader with proven ability to balance the customer and company’s interests; to manage both short-term improvements and long-term transformation, and to effectively prioritize/resolve customer issues * Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with multiple internal and external customers to build and drive desired agenda * Endlessly curious; seeks challenges going out of the way to problem solve and create solutions for team’s ultimate success * Team member who will learn the Frontier way of working and also develop innovative ways to make Frontier even better.
