Job Summary

Full-time position in support of the broad adoption of the Fountain House working community model in preparation for and following comprehensive clubhouse training.

The ideal candidate will be conversant with the social and economic impact of the benefits of community mental health services, integrated with a strategic partnership perspective that focuses on groups rather than individuals as the platform for change. We are looking for a candidate with the skills and experience in public advocacy for a stigmatized population, fostering collegial relationships, partnerships in interagency endeavors, and successful distributive leadership initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Expected to setup twenty collaborative educational centers that promotes the understanding and replication if the Fountain House “Working Community Model”.
• Working community adoption based results – 10% increase in membership in targeted regions.
• Explanation of a collaborative model for broad adoption of the “Working Community Model”.
• Domestic and international extensive travel.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated results in collective endeavors
• Five plus years of experience in non-profit management, advocacy, training and development and/or change management
• Facility in a foreign language
• Strong leadership skills and business acumen
• Demonstration of clear writing and public speaking skills
• Outstanding interpersonal and communications skills
• MA in public health, leadership or organizational development
• Three professional letters of reference
