Reporting to the Development Director and working closely with ForestEthics’ Fundraising, Digital, and Campaign departments as well as outside consultants, the Data Analyst/Administrator is responsible for the administration and development of ForestEthics’ Salesforce CRM, related engagement tools, and overall systems/data analysis and reporting. This includes, and is not limited to, data processing methods and processes and report/query development to support the overall outreach strategies of ForestEthics.
Responsibilities
- Administer and manage ForestEthics’ engagement tools (Silverpop, Classy, Action Network) and fundraising database (Salesforce) including API and data sync, contact management, and financial tracking
- Liaise with fundraising, campaign, and digital teams to support technical design and implementation and ensure effective data integration/extraction
- Provide verification and recommendations for data selection criteria and query development to generate strategies for supporter engagement and fundraising
- Work as an expert on how to apply digital tools, strategies, and innovations toward multiple campaign, engagement, and fundraising goals
- Analyze supporter engagement metrics including, but not limited to: supporter actions, fundraising appeals, list purchases, and new prospect identification
- Based on internal needs and data structures, design, implement, and monitor intuitive fundraising and engagement dashboards
- Extract and process data according to stakeholder needs; provide additional data support as needed
- Provide training and support for all engagement and fundraising systems to appropriate stakeholders
- Identify opportunities to improve processes through utilities; lead the design and implementation of solutions
- Manage special projects and other duties as assigned
- Minimum two years experience working with and integrating engagement or development databases
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Deep knowledge of Salesforce administration
- Technical proficiency with a suite of data management tools
- Knowledge of innovations in digital and offline supporter engagement
