Summary
Director, Payments Product Management - responsible for overall Business product development and management for Payments within Deposit Services, with a primary focus on Wire Transfer, ACH, and SWIFT products. This position reports to the VP of Payments Strategy, Deposit Services. They will necome an integral part of the organization, working closely with the Business, Executive Leadership and both internal/external Technology partners to deliver on FRB’s Business vision and its Products’ goals and strategy. The successful candidate will uncover key insights and develop product strategies to enhance the value of the customer relationship, while maximizing the value that the customer receives from Payments applications and services. Experience, determination and enthusiasm for taking existing services and making them better is a must. This position will direct and manage a matrix product team, whose responsibilities will include maintaining the current portfolio of Payments products and services; assist with formulating overall Payments product strategy with input from customers, users, leadership, Compliance and Technology Partners; and defining future product needs and enhancements, including Continual Service Improvement opportunities. In addition, this team will be responsible for tracking and improving all software releases and related metrics throughout the entire software development lifecycle; from origination to completion, across all Payments platforms.
Responsibilities
* You will work closely with your teams, as well as have a direct responsibility to: * Manage vendors and partners for Payments products and services * Conduct market research in order to benchmark the company against competitive service offerings. * Team with customer support to maximize the overall customer experience for the organization * Develop management reporting and use analytics tools to gauge, monitor and pinpoint areas for improvement with the company’s Payments product & services. * Manage the complete product lifecycle, Design> Development>Testing>Transition>Operation. * Develop and execute the product roadmap, including strategies and product enhancements to increase perceived value and customer satisfaction. * Help to develop product and marketing requirements specifications. * Define and prioritize enhancements to existing products. * Influence product and project budgets, track financials and determine ROI for Payments Product Portfolios * Responsible for identifying and validating the metrics in all areas of the customer lifecycle. * Develop process improvement strategies through coordination and analysis of customer experience, user behaviors and trend analysis. * Conduct/Direct periodic and ad hoc analysis of data pertinent to the operation and performance of the organization’s products and services. * You will be expected to be a leading expert in a fast-growing company. Much of your time will be spent in Operations and Support, leading current initiatives, directing product releases, gathering feedback from stakeholders and forming partnerships, but off the frontlines you’ll be expected to have a strong vision for the products you are supporting. This is a leadership role in a client-focused organization. * Manage and mentor a matrix team that may consist of developers, QA, Release Managers, BA’s, PM’s and Vendor/Partner resources, product owners and support staff * Evangelize Deposit Services’ products and technology in the company * Use feedback, market trends, and intuition to formulate products that add measurable value to our business and its clients * Coordinate and communicate changes, enhancements, replacements for new products to development, sales, operations and support teams * Analyze and prioritize projects based on business value and resources * Ensure operational resiliency & implementation of BCP actions
Ideal Candidate
* 10+ years managing software products * 5+ years leading, managing, and mentoring a winning product organization * Deep understandings of Wire Transfer and other Payments processes * Enterprise Architecture and leading architecture teams a plus * Critical thinker, creative problem-solver * Outstanding communication skills * Executive leadership experience a plus * Deep understanding of ITIL, Agile/Lean Software Development and Cloud technologies * Financial Industry, Banking, Regulatory Governance & Compliance a plus
