Responsibilities
Own the end-to-end global experience for our QuickBooks Online Accountant offering that enables accountants to support their clients’ accounting needs in the US and abroad. You will leverage your innate curiosity and strategic vision to help develop new ideas on how to deliver time saving, product delight and regional appeal as well as influence a number of other products. * Directly responsible for QuickBooks Online for Accounting Professionals business outcomes * Drive cross-functional strategy and execution of a product offering(s), from requirements to delivery and ensure the offering(s) delivers on time with high quality, in accordance with stated business and technical objectives. * Hunt for big ideas that identify and solve important customer problems and move beyond incremental features or improvements to a complete offering. * Research, understand and draw insights on customers’ pain points and needs through methods such as “follow-me-to-home/office” visits, in-depth interviews, root-cause analysis, and other customer/market research techniques * Think End-to-End by connecting all the pieces of the business (development, marketing, sales, support) to make the offering successful in the market while leveraging all available assets (customers, internal and external data, related offerings, partners) to solve customer problems and create value. * Lead through process excellence and demonstrate effective project management skills for complex projects as well as anticipate likely risks and implementing mitigation plans. * Take ownership for a successful product outcome, anticipate needs across product development, marketing, and support teams * Be the customer champion for accountants, influencing the roadmaps of other groups at Intuit to address accountant needs * Use personal accounting experience, customer data and a global lens to drive an innovative business model that enables QuickBooks Online Accountant to win in the US, UK, AU, CA, FR and other regions.
Ideal Candidate
* 3-5+ years designing and delivering world-class software products in a Product Management role * Demonstrated experience managing the end-to-end product lifecycle for consumer or enterprise offerings * Ability to develop and execute a successful product roadmap * Experience with Agile development and methodologies * Proven expertise leading cross-functional teams that together launch on-time and on-budget desktop, web or mobile software product offerings * Strong project management skills, including the ability to think and lead complex projects simultaneously * Successful history of delivering customer-driven products designed to create a great customer experience * Requires a Bachelors degree, MBA preferred
