Experience Planning

• Participate in client discovery and requirements-gathering sessions to understand business needs and user motivations. Work closely with client and project teams to define user types and conversion goals.
• Apply data-driven insight provided by data analytics and SEO teams to create successful user experiences that achieve results.
• Plan for, author and present User Experience deliverables that provide a structure and foundation for content creation, design production, and technical development. This includes User Journeys, Sitemaps, Wireframes, Style Guides and semi-functional Prototypes.
• Work closely with Digital Copywriting and Creative teams to bring brand stories to life in site-wide architecture and page-level strategy.

Interface Design

• Brainstorm and workshop ideas for translating business requirements into brilliant interfaces and memorable brand experiences, executing visual design that supports brand style and tone.
• Specify interface design solutions working in highly collaborative environments with Writers, Developers and Creative Leads. Leverage a flexible toolkit appropriate for unique project needs that may include sketches, detailed mockups, functional prototypes, and polished visual designs.
• Apply expert knowledge of modern web design best practices and the latest available tools and resources.
• Work closely with Development team leads to ensure designs are systematically structured for content management and responsive design

• Bachelor's degree in visual design or user experience related discipline
• Minimum 5 years digital design experience
• Proven ability to translate requirements and user definitions into successful architectural structures
• The ability to problem solve, think conceptually and deliver creative solutions
• Strong and flexible capabilities in visual interface design
• Familiarity with capabilities and limitations of current web technologies
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
• The ability to see from the point of view of the user
• Organized, self-motivated and able to keep a cool head and meet deadlines
• Meticulous attention to detail
• A solid portfolio of digital work, displaying significant applicable industry experience (please include with your resume submission)

Thought Leadership

• Champion user experience principles and best practices, contributing to a shared knowledge system across the agency.
• Understand principles of motion design and application of interface animation.
• When needed, execute heuristic evaluations measuring experiences against best practices, documenting issues and recommendations for improvement.
