Brand Strategist

We are an experience design and innovation firm headquartered in Portland, Oregon.

We’re looking for a creative systems thinker who loves brands, from the stories they tell to how they respond to trends and market shifts. The Brand Strategist should be experienced in creating strategies that are actionable for our clients and internal design teams. At Ziba, brand strategy is a creative discipline. As a mid-level Brand Strategist, you will create briefs to inform and inspire our multi-disciplinary teams about the brands they are designing for.

* Curious and motivated to understand brand intention, expression and results. * Passionate about the discipline of design and how it helps shape brands. * Driven to create - the visual and verbal brief is your art form. * Someone who strikes an elegant balance between rigor and intuition. * Open to possibility and able to flourish in ambiguity. * Comfortable creating discussion guides and conducting expert interviews with high-level brand stakeholders. * Fluent in brand architectures and attuned to their implications. * Confident in crafting and leading client workshop brand exercises. * Able to create competitive landscapes and assess brand positions. **WHAT YOUR DAY-TO-DAY WILL BE LIKE:** * Each project is different and presents different questions and challenges.
