Responsibilities
- Manages marketing events, including meetings, speaking engagements, seminars and trade shows which involves scheduling and executing all details related to external events, both on and off-site planning - Assists Practice Growth team to coordinate sponsorships and support key initiatives - Supports prospecting efforts for key practice areas by conducting research and action plan follow-up - Assists with gathering information as well as drafting and producing proposals and presentations - Coordinates pipeline tracking process, working with office representatives to track significant opportunities - Updates contact data, opportunities and activities, uploads lists and generates accurate reports in firm’s CRM - Assists with gathering information to build mailing lists and continuously updating them for accuracy - Assists with newsletter and alert development and distribution process, including newsletter design, quality control approval, distribution and tracking analytics. - Provides support for and assists with leadership engagement with various community organizations - Coordinates ordering and stocking sales collateral including promotional items - Utilizes CMS technology to update firm website as needed - Provides general support to marketing and business development focused team members throughout the firm - Fields website inquires to appropriate practice leader or shareholder - Assists Practice Growth team in managing and tracking marketing budget and processing invoices - Maintains and organizes department files and collateral materials - Assists Practice Growth team to schedule meetings, prepare materials, coordinate meeting logistics - Books travel arrangements for Practice Growth team members when needed - Assists with research and special projects
Ideal Candidate
- 3-5 years of marketing experience preferred within a professional services firm or large corporate/matrix environment - Bachelor’s degree preferably in marketing - Detail oriented and analytical mindset - Excellent written and oral communication skills - Good customer service skills interfacing with executives and clients - Experience planning events, drafting proposals and juggling details of multiple projects - Ability to meet deadlines and work well in a team settings or as an individual; strong interpersonal skills and self-disciplined to accomplish tasks with minimal supervision - Demonstrated ability to take initiative and interact with all levels of management - Flexibility and adaptability required as it relates to managing tasks and relationships as well as learning and utilizing new technologies - Experience working within tight deadlines and managing multiple priorities - Proficiency in MS applications, including PowerPoint, Publisher, Excel, Word, Outlook, Constant Contact (or comparable mail ASP), Sales Force (or comparable CRM) and Adobe CS5 Suite (or comparable design software)
