Summary
Provide acquisition support planning, status and tracking of multiple acquisition activities for an Army product manager located at Ft Belvoir, VA.
Responsibilities
* Coordinating with multiple teams and Business Management Offices to synchronize numerous PM activities, contract actions, acquisition requirement packages, and overall acquisition plans. * Establish reporting processes and standards and provide status reporting to PM leadership for multiple projects. * Coordinate with teams comprised of multiple contractor and US Government agencies. * Interface with higher staffs at the Project Manager and PEO level to include Army Contracting Command on status of activities. * Analyze and report monthly project status, risks, and strategies to higher command. * Participate in weekly product IPTs for planning. * Collect, complete, organize and interpret technical data related to acquisition and product programs. * Possess technical, analytical and problem solving skills, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously providing detailed analysis and in support of a fast-paced, multi-phase DoD product office.
Ideal Candidate
**Required Skills:** * Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required. * Bachelor's degree plus ten (10) years of experience. * Secret Security Clearance Required. * Demonstrated 10 years of experience in DoD acquisition program management. * Knowledge of DoD acquisition statutory and regulatory requirements, and Army acquisition policy. * Experience in development of acquisition strategies, acquisition plans, and acquisition requirements packages. * Demonstrated time management and organizational skills. * Possess technical, analytical and problem solving skills, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously. * Possess strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to work with others. * Knowledge of budget processes – budget cycles, terminology, etc. * Proficient with Microsoft Office suite of applications, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Project. **Desired Skills:** * DAU Coursework related to DoD Acquisition, Program Management, etc.
