Summary
As the Key Holder, you will hold a vital position in shaping the future of Cycle Gear! Your purpose is to be the acting member of the management team when the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager are not present at the store. You will be expected to be proficient in all store operations, which includes opening and closing the store, administering returns and store credit, setting sales goals, and dividing tasks amongst Sales Associates. Additionally, you will be held accountable to provide each Cycle Gear customer, whether they are a novice or a seasoned rider, with a great customer experience and ensuring they receive quality customer service, per Cycle Gear's Core Values. You will be expected to provide customers with accurate in-depth information on product features and benefits, as well as be able to identify alternative items that will satisfy the customer's needs and wants. Other responsibilities that you will be held accountable for include: meeting and exceeding personal and store sales goals, cleaning up the register stations, merchandising products, cash register operations (POS) and loss prevention in adherence to all Cycle Gear Policies, and any other duties as assigned by the management team.
Responsibilities
* Must be able to multi-task and have an attention to detail. * Must be able to establish engaging rapport with customers. * Must have the ability to read, count and write to accurately complete all documentation. * Must have the ability to retain large amounts of ever-changing product information. * Must be a solid team player with excellent interpersonal skills; strong communications skills. * Must have an upbeat, positive attitude and being passionate about what you do.
Ideal Candidate
* High School diploma or GED preferred. * Previous retail, customer service, or sales experience; 2 years preferred. * Previous experience with POS systems preferred. * Previous experience with meeting or exceeding sales objectives in a retail environment. * Must be comfortable receiving instructions from management team; must have good follow-through. * Ability to work a flexible schedule, including holiday, evening and weekend shifts. * Familiarity reading and comprehending planograms, modules, plan-o-grams, schematics or POGs.
