Summary
Reporting to the Senior Manager, International Finance, this position is responsible for assisting with financial reporting and business analysis for the international entities. The Financial Analyst, International Finance, will collaborate with the International Controllers and their teams, the Financial Reporting Group, Financial Planning & Analysis, Treasury, Corporate Tax, Human Resources, Legal, and other functions and business leaders. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, be able to create templates, be able to model using the company’s financials systems, and also assist with the general monthly close process.
Responsibilities
**Monthly Close** * Prepare and post journal entries and accruals to assist with monthly close and quarterly close, including U.S. GAAP and tax entries * Assist with monthly close process including performing reconciliations, completing required reporting templates, etc. * Assist with audit support for Corporate audit and foreign entity statutory audits **Planning and Analysis** * Assist with the planning and analysis for the International business * Prepare reports and templates for reporting, forecasting and budgeting * Perform ad hoc analysis as needed to support the International business **Treasury** * Assist with cash management including coordinating and processing wire transfers * Assist with analysis relating to cash flow **Organizational** * Assist on projects relating to procurement projects, productivity initiatives, leases, employee expat assignments * Review international financials and monthly reports to ensure compliance with the Company’s reporting requirements (move up to monthly close section) * Create financial models to provide financial analysis and decision support to internal and external reporting, Corporate Tax, and international business leadership on business issues related to international entities (move up to the planning & analysis section) * Ensure all international contracts, leases, tax returns, banking, and other legal and financial records are current * Assist with the intercompany billing process for international entities; monitor and reconcile any material intercompany difference between U.S. entities and international entities as well as differences among various international entities (move up to the monthly close section) * Assist in company’s accounting system upgrade and new financial reporting system implementation * Support senior leader and Board presentations **Managing Execution** * Ensure deadlines are met * Ensuring appropriate amount of support (time & resource allocation) for top initiatives **Managing Relationships** * Build relationships with the corporate finance functions and international controllers and their teams * Demonstrate superior teamwork and communication
Ideal Candidate
* Bachelor’s degree, Accounting or Business preferred * CPA and/or MBA or related graduate degree preferred * Minimum 3 years * International a plus but not required * Systems and modeling experience required (HFM, JDE/SAP, Essbase)
