Play a key role in the accounts payable/expense department with the responsibility to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of all disbursements while maintaining adequate internal controls. Assist in establishing the processes, and suggest system improvements to increase the efficiency of the department based on best practices.
- Lead a team within the Accounts Payable process.
- Facilitate the A/P process in regard to review and analysis of A/P-related transactions and documentation, including vendor payments, payment authorization, check requests, purchase orders, 3-way match and reporting.
- Perform A/P Trade account reconciliations.
- Generate weekly reconciliation of the Invoice on Hold report, Invoice Register and monthly Aging Report, Uncosted Receiver Report, A/P Trial Balance Report and other A/P related reports such as financial reports to ensure expense coding accuracy; audit, review and update
- Responsible for all 1099 file maintenance and year end reporting requirements.
- Ensure compliance with A/P internal controls, policies and procedures; communicates with Accounting and other departments to ensure that proper project accounting is followed.
- Develop and maintain metrics related to the A/P process.
- Diligently strive to meet department goals and objectives.
- Develop and maintain training material for both team members and customers.
- Oversee coordination of company sponsored card programs (Travel and PCard).
- Initiate and oversee process improvement initiatives within A/P.
- Assist with independent audits and internal control compliance.
- Provide training and feedback to employees in adhering to Accounts Payable policies and procedures.
- Maintain open communication with Manager of daily production and seek assistance when necessary; Implements process improvements and resolves non-routine issues in conjunction with Senior Manager, Accounts Payable.

Education:
- Bachelor's Degree required - Accounting or Finance
- CPA, CA or ACCA preferred
- Years of Experience: Minimum 6 years prior accounts payable experience required
- Minimum 6 years supervisory experience, 4 years over AP required
