VP of Finance

We are an exciting venture backed company that is growing rapidly. You must have experience dealing with a venture capital investor based business model. Please don't apply unless you have some level of financial management experience with in venture capital world. We're looking for our first full-time finance hire -- a multi-talented, execution-focused individual who will join our leadership team and make us more data-driven and efficient. S/he will be responsible for our financial strategy and systems, budgeting, risk management, accounting, general reporting & KPI's, corporate finance and several other critical roles. Our VP Finance and Operations will deliver strategic and operational finance support to the executive team, internal team leaders and board of directors. Success will be achieved by fueling the growth rates of a small company, while building the controls of a large one. Candidates should have a blend of small company and large company experience.

* Oversee finance and accounting practices, including preparing budgets, financial reports, tax, and audit * Manage cash operations * Responsible for continuous maintenance and control of company’s financial model and plan * Work with each department on business planning and forecasts * Confer with other leadership members across the company by providing monthly and quarterly KPI reports (budget vs. actual) with strategic insights on how to improve their operations * Analyze data to gain insights and provide strategic input on how various decisions impact the financial health of the company and the key drivers of the business * Create all board materials and strategy updates * Identify and execute system and process improvements that will drive productivity gains * Strategic thinking regarding competitive strategy, business models, pricing, and financial management * Oversee day-to-day cash management, expenses, and payables * Managing all planning and forecasting activities including quarterly and annual budget and headcount planning * Management and oversight of the company P&L and balance sheet, cash flow statements and core SaaS metrics * Ensure that critical financial information is provided to the board as well as the team * Develop financial controls and ensure and that all financial records are accurate, timely, and well-presented

* You have at least 7 years of Finance and Operations experience some of which has occurred at a venture-backed SaaS business. * Not only are you fluent in numbers, projections and excel, but you also have a strategic mind and are able to develop strategies based off your analysis. * We need someone who will excel in a fast-moving environment. * You must be a team player and a collaborator by nature, with outstanding communication skills and a results-driven, go-getter attitude with a keen attention to detail and a history of setting and achieving aggressive goals.
