Summary
This Product Manager will be responsible for leading efforts to ensure the success of Cox’s internet adoption effort to low income families. Performing this role involves developing and implementing strategies to improve and enhance the program, identifying and spearheading the implementation of product, process, and program improvements to optimize program results, and lifecycle management. The role will require strong leadership skills with the ability to educate, collaborate and facilitate the organization toward achieving program goals. An ability to clearly and effectively communicate and collaborate across all functional areas of the company will be vital to the success of the person in this role. This is a high visibility program for Cox and requires strong executive presence and presentation skills.
Responsibilities
* Manage Internet adoption program. Work with Public Affairs, Sales, Care and Marketing to ensure the program increases internet adoption in low income families and reflects positively on Cox. Ensure internal operations and vendor performance adheres to defined processes and service levels. Track program financials and budget. * Partner to improve Internet adoption program. In conjunction with data analysis, partner with Public Affairs, Sales and field counterparts to incorporate enhancements and ensure excellence in execution. * Reporting & communications. Develop reporting which provides the data necessary to communicate results, identify potential areas for improvement and track trends. Prepare monthly and quarterly program reports on effectiveness of enrollment methods, eligibility results, sales results, partner school results, etc. Track trends including effectiveness of community outreach methods. Develop annual forecasts for program performance. Review monthly audit to ensure compliance of front line agents with program policies and enforce policies as needed. * Analyze results, identify and implement improvements. Conduct data analyses of cohort behavior to identify opportunities to improve customer eligibility and purchase processes and to drive increased program adoption rates. * Manage execution of program improvements. Translate strategies for program improvement into workable plans and lead implementation of tactical plans to ensure customer experience, public perception and media coverage remains positive. Communicate to boundary partners updates to program. * Vendor Management. Work with vendor and external partners to identify impacts and manage costs of proposed enhancements on vendor platform. Develop and lead execution of Requirements Definition and User Acceptance Testing to ensure all changes have been properly tested and adequately coordinated. Serve as liaison with field teams for customer escalations to vendor. Lead ongoing operation review meetings with vendor to track performance. * Provide Subject Matter Expert support to Public Affairs, Sales Operations and Care when necessary. Lead monthly reviews with teams to keep partners apprised of program results and upcoming updates. Lead efforts to resolve cross-functional operational support issues. * Community Outreach Support. Provide support to local Public Affairs teams for local events, to ensure successful and streamlined enrollments. * Strategic program development. Work closely with Public Affairs to define ongoing strategy for the future of Cox’s Internet adoption efforts. Lead business case development to support strategic updates. Track industry and FCC broadband adoption initiatives. * Executive Presentations – Develop and present results to executive levels.
Ideal Candidate
**Required** * Product Management, Marketing or Business Management experience. Exceptional problem solving and analytic skills with attention to detail. Strong business acumen skills. * Strong strategic thinking skills, looking at the big picture and developing future product or program roadmaps or recommendations. * Excellent oral, written and presentation skills, including strong Power Point presentation skills. * Ability to analyze data to identify opportunities and recommend solutions for process or product improvements. * Experience leading and implementing processes or new programs. * Proven leadership skills and ability to manage cross-functional teams and lead in a matrix environment where getting work completed through others is necessary. * Requires strong knowledge of applications such Excel, PowerPoint. Experienced in excel report development. **Preferred** * BS/BA degree in related discipline strongly preferred (Marketing, Business Management, Product Management, Finance) * Experience in the telecommunications, technology or non- profit industry. * Product development experience a plus.
