Summary

Performs highly interpretive financial analysis for FP&A team, specifically for Sales, General, and Administrative (SG&A) accounts . Presents analysis and recommendations to management. Acts as a leader to less experienced staff. Effectively leads small teams and works well with small ad-hoc project teams.

Responsibilities

Partners with business leaders to provide recommendations that ensure sound financial decisions are being made for the organization. Supports the financial planning, forecasting and reporting process for our SG&A expenses.
Monthly financial presentation of expense and capital results and forecast to VP teams for SG&A expenses.
Supports investment request preparation and review including ROI analysis, spend control and post audit analysis
Provide financial guidance and leadership to business partners and management.
Process and reporting simplification.

Ideal Candidate

- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field
- MBA/CPA/CMA preferred, not required
- 5 years financial work experience
- Experience with financial modeling
- Leverage technical financial expertise to analyze and assimilate data into business recommendations
- “Go to” person for the area supported – Subject Matter Expert (SME)
- Implements continuous process improvements
- Develops trust and credibility across the organization
- Leads multiple projects that require cross-functional collaboration
- Ability & courage to challenge assumptions & status quo
- Operates with a high degree of self-initiative and produces significant results
- Communicate & provide insight to influence business partners
- Develops and applies change management skills
- Builds a strong internal network of relationships
- Understanding and effectively communicates to audience
- Ability to get to the ”so what” and influence decisions
