Responsibilities
* Records and maintains sales or delivery information in handheld * Acquires new business by identifying, making cold calls and presentations to prospective customers * Inquires about and/or listens to customer needs, problems, and complaints related to product or equipment * Maintains proper selection and inventory of products for each customer according to PAR levels * Coordinates promotional activities in stores (setting up and changing POS materials) * Regularly calls upon key accounts to build rapport, exchange information, resolve any conflicts, and ensure customer satisfaction * Regularly makes sales calls to improve performance and accomplish sales plan * Monitors active accounts * Resolves and negotiates with customer (excluding major pricing issues) to resolve issues * Rotates products (stock) * Communications (writes notes and instructions) to PreSell Service Representative and Merchandiser (if applicable) * Performs preventative and routine maintenance (using basic tools) on equipment placed at customer's place of business * Solicits existing customers to purchase additional products * Drives vehicle to make sales calls * Cleans truck and performs routine maintenance (such as washing, and checking fluids, oil and tire pressure) * Monitors and collects delinquent accounts involving home office, when required * Recovers brewing equipment and other branded merchandise and products from a lost customer's place of business * Participates in trade shows and special events to promote the company's products and services * Manages pour-over equipment at customer’s place of business (backs up Presell Service Representative) * Manages dormant accounts * Collects empty containers, out of date, unsold or damaged merchandise from customers * Must be willing and able to adapt and acclimate to the organization’s culture
Ideal Candidate
* Must be at least 21 years of age. * Must have an acceptable driving record. * High School diploma or General Education degree (GED), college degree preferred; OR one to three years related experience and/or combination of education and training. * Valid Driver’s License required. A Commercial Driver’s License may be required depending on vehicle assigned. DOT medical certification required. * Limited or occasional overnight travel. * Must frequently lift up to 32 pounds and may occasionally lift up to 50 pounds. * Must push or pull up to 776 pounds using a rolling pallet or similar equipment, often up or down a slight incline or ramp. * We offer a competitive salary and benefits package including health/dental/vision/life insurance, 401(k), short- and long-term disability, paid time off, employee assistance program, credit union, and educational assistance.
