Summary
The Marketing Senior Specialist must be able to serve as an advisor on marketing strategies and initiatives, exercise sound decision-making, execute marketing tactics with minimal direction and perform all tasks associated with the local marketing program. The Marketing Senior Specialist reports to both the Office Managing Partner as well as the regional Marketing Director, and is responsible for supporting the development and execution of office marketing initiatives. The Marketing Senior Specialist will also work directly with other marketing team members and firm partners on the execution of specific campaigns.
Responsibilities
* Manage the process of developing proposals and sales presentations. Write, review, edit, proofread, and format proposals and other materials to ensure accuracy, clarity, consistency of documents, tone and message. * Collaborate with partners and marketing directors to develop annual marketing plans and budgets and execute effectively against the defined goals and budgets. * Monitor and maintain the Atlanta office marketing budget and work with partner group to plan and measure marketing ROI for industry events and marketing campaigns. * Assist partners and the local Client Relationship Executive with lead development, research, preparation for sales call meetings, and follow-up while providing value-added input on the sales and proposal process. * Collaborate with Industry and Services Marketing Director to conduct local events and campaigns for industry practices including Affordable Housing, Construction, Hospitality, Not-for-Profit and Education and Real Estate, among others. Oversee implementation and execution of campaigns to market specialty services. * Manage Atlanta marketing campaigns and events for clients and prospective clients. * Coordinate and support client seminars, exhibits, sponsorships, tradeshows and other events. Coordinate exhibit, booth staffing, marketing material, name badges, shipping and registrations. * Work with partner group to promote the CohnReznick brand in the Atlanta market and ensure the Firm is represented at key industry and community events. * Generate and foster thought leadership development, identifying topics and leveraging content developed by corporate marketing team. * Develop and maintain lists of prospects, centers of influence, and top clients. Oversee maintenance of CRM data and monitor and update corresponding reports. * Work with partners to develop relationships with contacts at law firms, banks and other referral sources. * Build relationships with local media and coordinate public relations activities with corporate marketing team. Utilize intranet and area media outlets to promote and recognize activities and accomplishments of the office and individuals.
Ideal Candidate
* Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or related area, from an accredited college or university. * Minimum 5-10 years of related experience in a professional services firm. * Experience with a national accounting firm is a plus. * Experience managing multiple projects and working with a variety of people. * Knowledge of the Atlanta business/marketplace environment. * Excellent interpersonal, communications, and writing skills, and the ability to work and negotiate effectively with senior level individuals. * Strong computer skills, particularly Microsoft Office applications. * Ability to multi-task while maintaining a quality consciousness and sharp eye for detail. * Responsiveness and professionalism in dealing with short deadlines and frequent changes in schedule. * Flexibility regarding workload/work schedule and willingness to work overtime as needed. * Must be a high-energy individual who can identify solutions, develop plans, implement projects and influence outcomes. * Knowledge of Dynamics or other CRM system is a plus
