Summary
This Regional Sales Manager (RSM) is accountable for achieving revenue goals by discovering, qualifying, developing and closing new business with large enterprise customers. Because the RSM will be selling into an emerging and disruptive market (cloud and cloud security) mastery of solution selling and verifiable success with emerging-market startup sales are absolute must-haves. The RSM will establish and grow a stream of recurring subscription revenue for CloudPassage’s security-as-a-service offerings. The RSM will source opportunities through a solution sales approach within their own network of accounts, and will be provided with targeted leads generated by marketing and demand generation activities.
Responsibilities
The RSM will independently and effectively coordinate sales engineers and other resources to evaluate prospects’ business & technical needs, formulate solutions and associated value propositions, proving value propositions through pilots and POCs, and negotiate economic and legal terms to close new subscription business. The RSM role is also responsible for discovering opportunities for expansion within named accounts (typically through additional business units, cloud projects, or technical use cases) to grow overall account revenue run-rate as well as supporting sales efforts in the geographic region. This is a start-up with lots of good customers already, so you’ll have to be able to think and act nimbly in a small company environment.
Ideal Candidate
**The Details** * Minimum of 5 years’ experience successfully selling information, network, and/or computer security solutions to large enterprises. * Proven track record of consultative solution selling of innovative disruptive products and services is a must-have. * Strong information security and cloud computing domain knowledge; able to authoritatively discuss business drivers, needs, and approaches associated with cloud computing, information security, and compliance. * A strong rolodex of top Enterprise Accounts and contacts. **What You Need For This Position** * Independently proficient in using sales, and productivity tools including (but not limited to) Salesforce.com, ClearSlide and RainKing, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Office, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Google Apps. * Demonstrates skill with strategic selling and account management, customer presentation, account team coordination, client relationship management, account management logistics, deal negotiation, and competency managing procurement logistics. * Attention to detail and strong personal organization / productivity are absolute must-haves. **Education:** * Four-year college degree from an accredited institution or commensurate experience and skills.
