- Achieve or exceed sales quotas through a consultative sales approach.
- Deliver presentations to end-users by assessing their Citrix environments, providing solutions to effectively close the potential opportunities.
- Establish and maintain relationships with channel partners to achieve the defined account strategies and opportunity plans.
- Establish and maintain relationships with field sales, consultants, and inside sales teams to maximize full potential of every opportunity.
- Develop and apply an understanding of Citrix product and service offerings.
Qualifications (knowledge, skills, abilities)
- Proven ability to communicate effectively in presentations via telephone and computer with customers required.
- Ability to identify new and existing opportunities through basic consultative selling methodology
- Self-starter with excellent communication skills who is highly skilled in the art of closing deals.
- Heavily motivated to exceed sales targets including an extreme dissatisfaction for personal mediocrity.
- Team player whose attitude will also help bring out the best in coworkers.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure, maintain organization, and meet deadlines while maintaining a pleasant, professional demeanor.
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- History of successful target attainment
- Knowledge of CRM and opportunity management systems preferably Sales.com
Requirements (Education, Certification, Training, and Experience)
- BA/BS degree required
- 3 to 5 years of technical sales required including a lack of fear of spending heavy time on the phone.
- CCSP certification a plus
