Software Development Engineer in Test

• Build advanced automated test suites and maintain existing tests
• Design & Implement test framework for various Jasper Services
• Analyze and decompose a complicated software system and design a strategy to test this system
• Interact and collaborate with other team members to understand the testing requirement
• Collect and analyze different test metrics to determine code coverage and test effectiveness.
• Provide input to development on software design and on ways to improve testability to support more extensive test automation.

• 3-5 years’ experience in software testing methodology, test development, script development and maintenance in an Agile software development environment
• Expert in developing Automation Framework and test script using Selenium WebDriver
• Strong knowledge of Java as programming language.
• Experience in developing efficient and maintainable automation scripts using agile practices that works across multiple browsers and devices
• Experience testing web services ( SOAP, REST )
• Expert in setting up and maintaining automated build system
• Strong understanding of the integration between automated software tests and the build process
• Understanding of database fundamentals and SQL Programming
• Familiarity with a scripting language, preferably Python, Perl.
• Experience working on a successful agile development team

• Interpersonal skills: Effective in working with technical teams, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• BS or MS degree in computer science or computer engineering
