Senior Test Automation Engineer

* Engineer customer-focused test strategies and plans encompassing a suite of reliable test cases, determining where to use manual and/or automated approaches * Create test automation designs and roadmaps for QA Processes * Lead global test teams * Work directly with software engineers, quality engineers, technical writers, and product management to understand customer needs, and then implement and test high value features and product functionality * Enhance existing application testing infrastructure. Also investigate and develop skills in new technologies

**Required Qualifications** * Be a self starter and a quick learner * Technical prowess to provide guidance to Product and Engineering teams on designing cutting edge cloud solutions * Experience using test automation tools and/or writing automated test scripts. REST/SOAP is a plus * The ability to write test cases/procedures to an approved specification and determine their sufficiency to ensure high product quality leveraging end to end system testing and exploratory testing * The ability to mold, adapt, drive, and own a QA process to fit the needs of the team and the product * Eight or more years of professional experience in software quality assurance and/or development * Excellent troubleshooting skills, specifically involved with the development of innovative enterprise grade software * Exceptional oral and written communication skills along with ability to work with others as a team * Proficiency in one or more defect tracking and test case management software systems * Comfortable working in an Agile software engineering environment with a focus on the principals and values espoused in the Agile Manifesto **Desired Qualifications** * Experience working with cloud technologies such as OpenStack, EC2, Vsphere, Azure, etc, or a willingness to voraciously learn about cloud technologies on the job * Experience working with software engineering source control management and build tools (e.g Jenkins, Rational, Perforce, etc.) * 8+ years of software testing experience focused on SaaS or Enterprise software product development * Development/scripting experience with one or more of the following – Java, C#, Selenium, JavaScript, Perl, PHP, Shell Scripting, Python, etc. * Knowledge of operating complex applications on any Linux variant * Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field * Experience with techniques such as TDD, continuous delivery, and test coverage as part of a total quality software engineering organization * Experience with performance automation testing focused across multiple areas such as scalability, response, and load
