Summary
The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for creatively sourcing, screening, interviewing, assessing, selecting and extending job offers to qualified candidates, and administering new hire paperwork to applicants for administrative, direct care, clinical, management, and general laborer positions. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will review needed job descriptions and work closely with hiring managers in order to fully understand the position requirements, work environment, work group dynamic, and supervisor expectations in order to attract and hire the best qualified candidate in the most efficient and cost effective manner.
Responsibilities
* Seeks out new and creative ideas to proactively attract candidates through social media posts, resume mining, outreach efforts, college/university recruitment, career fairs, website postings, special recruiting events and other position advertising methods. * Develop and maintain a network of contacts, including online recruiting resources contacts to help identify and source qualified candidates. * Create and foster relationships with educational institutions and diverse professional organizations/associations to attract and recruit alumni and diverse candidates; conduct on-campus interviews. * Prescreen candidates via telephone and personal interviews. Create and present prescreening questions to management for collaboration and review. * Maintain accurate and well-ordered documentation on all candidates, searches, applicant dispositions, and other recruiting activities; present reports to Talent Acquisition Manager and Human Resources Manager. * Maintain contact with internal customers (hiring department managers) to develop a thorough understanding of the department culture, thereby helping candidates to fully understand the opportunity and ensure the best selection. * Initiate and maintain excellent communication with the HR department and internal customers (hiring managers) to proactively keep others informed. * Participate in the development of ongoing creative and cost-effective sourcing strategies. * Coordinate screenings/verification activities of HR Assistant or HR Coordinator * Ability to report to work as scheduled, in a timely fashion and will an attitude oriented toward service.
Ideal Candidate
Graduation with a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources preferred, other related disciplines considered with a minimum of 2 years of staffing or recruiting experience in a high volume, fast-paced environment. * Extensive experience with Internet recruiting and interviewing & selection. * Understanding of applicable employment related laws and regulations. * Experience in serving high volume, multiple locations. * Computer literate and proficiency to Internet, online applications and email. * Bilingual a plus.
Compensation and Working Conditions
Hourly Pay $14 - $16
