Summary
We are seeking a Senior Product Manager in Desktop Tools to lead and execute on a cooperative effort to launch a large-scale, multi-enterprise program for our Sales organizations. The Sr. Product Manager will actively partner with business, technology and vendor platform partners in the development and implementation of a multi-year program, providing platform expertise and delivering guidance to Compliance, Legal and Supervision teams to help ensure that the program maintains strict compliance and regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
* Administrate desktop applications - uncovering and tracking product enhancements and design changes, identifying bugs, writing business requirements, representing Platform and Product Management business ownership during issue escalations and resolution, gathering and documenting input from users and stakeholders for future functional changes and identifying short-term and long-term solutions to meet business needs * Launch new products – investigate new platforms, develop business cases, write business requirements, facilitate product demonstrations, etc. * Provide thought leadership in the design of new processes and identification of new platforms to enhance the overall user experience * Acquire deep understanding of business requirements and help shape the high-level strategy for future platform initiatives * Develop and maintain relationships with Compliance, Legal, Marketing, Supervision and Controls and other business stakeholders * Act as a liaison between business stakeholders, platform management, vendors and technical teams

The ideal candidate is technically savvy, has strong organizational skills, is a creative problem solver and is able to work in an ever-changing, deadline driven environment. He or she will work closely with various groups throughout the organization, including frontline reps, 3rd party vendors, internal communication groups, Legal and Compliance, and Technology. **Technical/Functional Qualifications:** * 5+ years Technical Product Management experience * Experience working in financial services or other regulated industry preferred * BA required * Experience in Program Management a plus **Key Factors for Success:** * Excellent project management skills and detail orientation * Strong client focus * Ability to think strategically and creatively * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills * Superior judgment skills, including the ability to effectively assess the impact of platform changes on the user experience as well as risks to the firm * Demonstrated success with managing the product development process from concept through execution and support * Ability to work independently and planning out work to meet deadlines * Strong written communication skills; ability to develop concise and effective communications tailored to specific audiences * Experience with analyzing data and information, and applying problem-solving skills to deliver recommendations and drive to results. Ability to drive change and support new ways of doing things across organizational boundaries * Solid understanding of financial services regulations as it relates to communications with the public and social media in particular is a plus * Experience with product lifecycle management, including bringing new products to market, deploying enhancements to existing products and migrating users to new products while retiring old ones. * Experience in developing business process requirements, use cases, use case model, supplementary requirements, and business rules * Strong knowledge of Excel, MS Word and Visio Drawing tool along with general familiarity with Outlook and other MS Office applications is also required
