Responsibilities
- Developing strategic marketing plans -- goals, strategies and tactics - Leading development/service line meetings for assigned areas - Acting as primary contact with the content development team in executing content Supervising the Marketing Project Coordinators in their day-to-day tasks - Developing project scope (brief), goals and deliverables in collaboration with internal working team and service line client - Tracking resources and budget on assigned projects Partnering with Marketing Director in establishing advertising and call center strategies and tactics - Developing business relationships vital to the success of the project - Conducting project post mortem and identify successful and unsuccessful project elements
Ideal Candidate
- The successful candidate will have exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to interact effectively with hospital leaders, physicians and staff colleagues. - He/She should be a persuasive presenter and a skilled communicator, both in writing and verbally, with excellent project management, analytic and organizational skills. - The Marketing Manager should have the proven ability to develop and successfully execute strategic plans, and must be able to coordinate multiple complex projects with varied scope and impact simultaneously. - The demonstrated ability to work with all levels within an organization and to influence end results through exceptional listening and negotiation skills is essential and expected. - High levels of integrity, initiative, creativity, and responsiveness are required. The ideal candidate will be politically astute, hard-working, patient, and be an open, communicative, strong, and confident professional. - The successful candidate will be a skilled marketing professional with five to ten years of progressive work experience, preferably in a healthcare organization or an advertising agency. - Ideally, he/she will have an understanding and knowledge of a healthcare environment, in particular of working with physicians. - Extensive knowledge and skill with various PC and database applications, including advanced Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint is required. - In addition, he/she should have the ability to identify, summarize and report on critical data and have experience managing a budget.
