Responsibilities
**Responsibilities** This position is responsible for the management of the MAC (Moves / Adds / Changes) process including the coordination of daily relocation efforts for the American Employees and Contractors. Synchronize with various vendors such as Technologies, Project Management, Facilities Management and relevant contractors. Must have the ability to maintain a professional and cohesive relationship with the American Express Clients and Business Unit liaisons. **Essential Duties and Responsibilities** * A full understanding of business processes to ensure effective space planning, space management, move management and CAD integration to ensure data integrity * Project Management for small projects (under 1500 furniture/ 10K GC) * Manage all MAC (Move, Add, Change) initiatives (of less than 10 users), including the coordination of technology components. Provide post move support to the individual client and groups. * Support regional initiatives through scenario planning, test-fit development, block and stacking plans and move migration plans. * Act as a lead on technical guidance for space planning/furniture/CAD standards and facilities planning process development * Support reconfiguration request for (less than 10 users) workstations, private offices or huddle rooms as received and approved by the business unit liaisons. * Acquire any additional furniture items as provided by the client or requested through the Service Desk. * Assure the Business Units are remaining within the appropriate real estate boundaries and the proper liaison is approving certain requisition/request. * Acquisition of Occupation Health requirements as requested through the business unit and Corporate Safety. * Review of new hire information on Phone Add request to ensure the proper set up of the workstation. * Evaluate overall vendor performance to ensure the client’s standards of performance are met. * Ability to set up a budget, track and audit vendor invoices and present to the client. * Procure goods and services via The Ariba Buyer System. As well as approve invoices and submit for payment. * Preparation of schedules for all work in addition to communicating the schedule directly with the client and vendors involved.
Ideal Candidate
* High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required. * Associate’s degree from or equivalent preferred. * Minimum of 5 years of related progressive experience and/or training. AutoCAD drawing experience required. * CAFM software experience preferred. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * General understanding of floorplans * Must have the ability to deal with people in all levels of the organization * Strong organizational, scheduling and prioritizing skills * Time management – Must be able to start and complete multiple layers of any task * Attention to detail
