Summary
Develop internal and external client relationships and proactively manage their business needs. Responsible for the developing client relationships for Americas Research and planning the sales efforts for Econometric Advisors (EA) products and services. Collaborates with Business Line Leaders and Senior Management to understand their business objectives and develop an overall strategy that is aligned and focused towards helping each business line achieve their goals.
Responsibilities
* Responsible for the development and implementation of the regional research client strategy and business plan ensuring priorities are aligned with the Global Research client strategy.Collaborates closely with Americas Head of Research and Global Research Client Services Head. * Collaborates closely with CCD teams and regional business line leaders to best meet business and client needs requiring research-related intelligence. * Deepens external client relationships through coordinated internal collaboration and resources to help maintain and grow relationships. * Identifies new client prospects and proactively manage contract renewal and retention process for a portfolio of client accounts. * Performs ongoing needs analysis with senior management to grow and retain annual sales revenues. * Provides superior customer service ensuring products and services consistently surpass client needs. * Promotes and implements marketing activities to generate new prospects. * Directly responsible for revenue targets. * Manages and closely supports a small client services team. * Other duties may be assigned.
Ideal Candidate
* Bachelor's degree (BA or BS) from four-year college or university and a minimum of eight years institutional sales experience. * Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret the most complex business documents. * Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive issues. * Ability to write reports, manuals, speeches and articles using distinctive style. * Ability to make effective and persuasive presentations on complex topics to employees, clients, top management and/or public groups. * Ability to motivate and negotiate effectively with key employees, top management, and client groups to take desired action. * Requires in-depth knowledge of financial terms and principles. * Ability to calculate complex figures. * Ability to forecast and prepare budgets. * Conducts financial/business analysis including the preparation of reports. * Ability to solve advanced problems and deal with a variety of options in complex situations. * Requires expert level analytical and quantitative skills with proven experience in developing strategic solutions for a growing matrix-based multi-industry sales environment. * Draws upon the analysis of others and makes recommendations that have a direct impact on the company. * Decisions made with in-depth understanding and interpretation of procedures, company policies and business practices to achieve general results. Responsible for setting department deadlines. * Errors in judgment may cause long-term impact to co-workers, supervisor, department and/or line of business.
