We are looking to expand our Salt Lake City, UT division by hiring a Finance Manager on the local team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone that wants to be the first one on the finance team for this new division that opened in 2016. The Finance Manager will provide financial and business analysis, projections and assumptions to facilitate a comprehensive and accurate forecasting model. New Home Building experience is preferable. This will be a great job for the right candidate!!

* Acts as the liaison between the Salt Lake City Division and the Corporate/Region office as it relates to Accounting and Finance issues. * Responsible for the development, analysis, and interpretation of statistical and accounting information in order to appraise operating results in terms of profitability and performance against budget. * Analyze financial results focusing on costs, margins and revenue trails as well as actual versus budget. * Works closely with the Construction department in determining optimum production levels in each community * Performs post acquisition project reviews comparing actual results with original underwriting to identify trends or gaps as well as areas of improvement for future deals * Supervises the annual business planning and quarterly project budget update process ensuring a high level of transparency and accuracy * Review margins in backlog and backlog quality. * Serves as local driver of process improvement efforts driven to standardized processes in all aspects of operations * Perform other duties as assigned.

* 4-year degree in Finance or Accounting. CPA preferred. * 3-5 years’ progressive experience in accounting and finance. * Understanding of GAAP, cost accounting and job costing. * Ability to calculate figure amounts such as discounts, interest and, commissions. * Builder MT experience preferred.
