Summary
Carbon Black seeks a creative, execution oriented and metrics driven Field Marketing Manager. This role will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing programs and events to reach target accounts and stakeholders in region, assisting sales in building pipeline and raising brand awareness in a dedicated region. You will be involved in soup to nuts development and execution of regional marketing plans including events, grassroots and guerilla marketing, programs and more. They will also be responsible for building strong relationships with our sales team, and collaborating with other marketing functions to ensure success as they execute their regional plans.
Responsibilities
* Design and implement integrated marketing programs that generate inquiries, meetings, pipeline and drive new customer acquisition and new business with existing customers. * Manage partners and vendors on logistics, set-up and staffing of events and programs in the field, and oversee all program details. Work with these teams to deliver robust programs that support sales objectives. * Manage annual regional field marketing budgets of 75-100K+. * Ownership of the approval process of regional program requests, researching details and ROI and making key decisions to ensure programs selected are appropriate to meet established goals. * Quarterly presentations to Field Sales Teams on metrics and marketing initiatives. * Manage lead upload and measurement process, analyze results and create reporting for field marketing campaigns. Utilize these reports to make approval recommendations for future program. * Maintaining all program communication and reporting tools including Salesforce.com and Marketo. * Confident in leading multiple projects. * Must have flexibility for travel up to 20% of the time. * Must have flexibility to work occasional evening or weekends as needed.
Ideal Candidate
* 5+ years of progressive experience in a marketing role with an emphasis in field marketing in the Northern CA Region. * Additional experience in related areas – event management, content development, webcasts, videos, etc. * Attention to detail, organization skills, excellent communication, creative problem solving and innovative thinking * Demonstrated applied skills in Microsoft Office, SalesForce.com, Marketo, event management software etc.. * The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and handle the physical aspects of event logistics * Bachelor’s Degree with concentration in marketing or related area
