Summary
We’re looking for a Director of Partner Development who can use their experience and knowledge of the digital, search, and e-commerce agency world to facilitate close relationships that expand Bounce Exchange’s influence. You should know all the ins and outs of the E-Commerce world and the companies in it (think Digitas, GroupM, WPP, DEG, Razorfish, Merkle, Accenture, Deloitte Digital, LyonsCGl and other top tier agencies). This role requires using your vast and expansive network (and all your great relationships within it) and continuously spreading the moniker of Bounce Exchange.
Responsibilities
* Be an absolute master of the Digital/Search/E-Commerce agency channel with a track record of closing meaningful, quantifiable partnerships * Close deals and continuously build out the pipeline * Focus on developing, negotiating, and managing partnerships * Make sure these partnerships support key growth, monetization, and product initiatives of Bounce Exchange * Detail business requirements, build proposals, and collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure clear and realistic deliverables * Take a data-driven approach to decision making; provide proof for your proposals and suggestions * Be the face of Bounce Exchange in the Search and E-Commerce World * Work with the incredible Bounce Exchange Marketing team to help coordinate partner marketing events
Ideal Candidate
* Allergic to wheel-spinning * Must have experience in the MarTech industry * Experience developing high-impact partnerships, ideally with a background in business development/sales * Unique ability to know how to prioritize your partnership pipeline * Must be a self-starter - this is not a position where you will be hand-held. Must be able to come in and make an immediate impact. * Sales capable: understand the necessary steps to close a deal * Be a pro at the following: strategic management, business development, product development, relationship management * Ability to understand mutual strategic benefits in business partnerships * Able to deal effectively and persuasively with management, staff, constituents, etc. * Experience using data to inform your strategy and drive better decision-making * Ability to understand software from a product perspective so you can explain complex technical concepts
