Senior Accountant

The Sr. Accountant will be responsible for handling various day to day accounting functions, general ledger account analysis and preparing monthly financial reporting packages. Also, responsible for assisting the division controller with any financial reports or projects as required. As a member of the MLG and Blizzard team, you will work alongside passionate, knowledgeable and experienced teammates to help continue building on our history of success in esports!

• Collaborate with Activision Blizzard’s accounting group to ensure compliance with Activision’s corporate policies and procedures for areas such as month-end close, revenue recognition and other accounting positions
• Communicate with other Activision Blizzard business units for intercompany activities
• Review disbursements to ensure proper coding, authorization and budgetary approval and adherence to ATVI policy
• Prepare journal entries in conformity with established procedures
• Prepare and review analysis of various balance sheet and P&L accounts
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting packages
• Assist MLG financial planning & analysis team in preparing weekly and monthly executive reports with key performance metrics
• Budget to actual reconciliations for MLG events & projects
• Track & report business KPI's & their relation to revenue performance
• Help maintain rolling forecast of MLG business.
• Research accounting issues as requested
• Assist in various other accounting and financial planning and analysis related projects as assigned
• Complete special projects as assigned

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
• 4+ years of experience in corporate accounting
• Big 4 public accounting experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail
• Highly motivated and willing to take on multiple responsibilities at once
• Expertise in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
