As a key member of the Blackbaud Sales Team, the Financial Solutions Account Executive will be responsible for selling Blackbaud’s Financial solutions to a prestigious collection of non-profit organizations within an assigned territory.
Responsibilities
* Managing sales activities to exceed assigned revenue objectives. * Providing a strategic plan to penetrate key opportunities. * Providing tactical plans and business cultivation strategies with specific measurable time frames to penetrate an account. * Executing aggressively on the plan to position Blackbaud as solution of choice. * Becoming a “trusted business advisor” to key executives in each account. * Differentiating Blackbaud’s solution by positioning key product and solution offerings. * Providing accurate and timely sales forecasts to management. * Engaging internal resources and providing direction and leadership in each sales engagement.
Ideal Candidate
* Minimum of 3 years of experience in positioning and selling complex technology and/or software solutions to new prospects. Of special interest would be experience selling/positioning financial and/or accounting products or solutions to the business office. * Trained in Target Account Selling, Solution Selling, Strategic Selling or similar technique. * Experience selling/navigating a complex sale. * A proven track record of consistent over quota achievement within a solutions software vendor. * Heavy telesales experience is required. * A Bachelor's degree from an accredited four year college. * Verifiable W2’s will be required. * The position requires approximately 40% - 50% travel within territory.
